This is a twin fort of Kalavantin Durg near Panvel city of Maharashtra. Both of these forts stand next to each other in the region of Karjat & Panvel. Prabalgad fort is popular due to its beautiful trekking route and camping opportunities. It is one of the best trekking places in Maharashtra. The peak of this fort along with Kalavantin is visible from the Mumbai Pune expressway. A large number of waterfalls take birth on these mountains in monsoon season. Its lush greenery, foggy weather, pleasant atmosphere and exciting trek route calls hundreds of adventure enthusiasts. You can experience the splendid beauty of Sahyadri Mountain Range in Prabalgad fort trek. Peaks of Kalavantin Durg, Chanderi Fort, Matheran Hill Station, Irshalgad and Karnala Fort are visible from the top. You can sit calmly and explore the surrounding region from the top!
